Leslie Lopez's Teacher

I am writing to encourage you to strongly consider Leslie Lopez for the Brookside Optometric Group scholarship. I had the pleasure of being Leslie’s English teacher, so I can attest to her character and work ethic.

Leslie is a hardworking and responsible young lady with a great personality. She makes an effort to stay on top of her class work, which demonstrates that she is dedicated to doing her best in school. Over the past four years, Leslie has worked hard to strengthen her critical thinking skills. Although Leslie is capable of taking directions and working well independently, she also works very well with other students when taking on group assignments.

Leslie is a first-generation college student and is highly motivated about earning a college degree. I believe Leslie possesses the academic potential and social skills to become a successful college student at your university. Therefore, I strongly recommend Leslie Lopez for the Brookside Optometric Group scholarship.
