Leslie Troutman's Teacher

It is an absolute honor to nominate Leslie Troutman for this scholarship. Leslie is by far one of my most kind, respectful, responsible, and trustworthy students. Despite the challenges of online learning, Leslie has shown up to my class everyday with a positive attitude and a smile on her face. She takes charge of her education and is always making the best out of having to do an online Senior year. When it comes to leadership, Leslie takes advantage of every opportunity thrown her way. Leslie is involved in Bear Creek FFA, a youth leadership organization, and has demonstrated her leadership skills through her service as our chapter’s Agriculture Awareness committee chair. In this role Leslie has helped to plan read-alongs and lesson plans for local elementary schools. She regularly attends the FFA events and is one of our most involved members. Furthermore, Leslie has engaged in lots of community service. She participated in Key Club, working as a member there and doing community service at a local animal shelter. She led therapy groups, worked and participated in ar sows, and volunteers as a teacher’s assistant at a local elementary school. I highly recommend Leslie for this scholarship, and am proud to have the opportunity to nominate her.
