I have had the pleasure of watching Sarisha grow into a very strong, determined, & confident young lady. I am in awe of all she has planned for her future. She knows what she wants and is going after it. As a student, she sets the bar high and always achieves it. Sarisha is very deserving of this scholarship.
Sarisha showed promise since our time together in my kindergarten and first grade class. She would bring information and opinions to our class discussions about MLK, Jr. as well as about the upcoming election. She obviously was absorbing the talks they had at home and then was freely sharing her insight with her classmates. At the time, I thought for sure that she would eventually go into politics. Her drive and success does not surprise me, and I hope that you will consider this amazing young lady as a finalist for your scholarship.

Sarisha is my reason for revamping all of my poetry lessons this year in AP Literature. I absolutely adore her outlook on life, her passion, and her spirit. I’ve had her in three different classes: AP Seminar, Film and Literature, and AP Literature. I’ve had the pleasure of flexing her brain in three different ways of thinking in these classes and it’s been a joy! For here on out, when I teach a poem, I’m going to ask myself, “Would Sarisha understand it taught that way?”
She’s made me a better teacher, a better student, a better human. And, if you need book recommendations, she’s the one to ask.
I had the pleasure of having Sarisha in my AP U.S. History class her junior year, she is an amazing young lady that continues to challenge herself academically. She is humble and caring and is well deserving.
I have known Sarisha since she was a little girl. She takes her academics seriously at the same time she takes interest in helping others. Best of luck to this young lady!
Sarisha Jacobs has a heart of gold. I met Sarisha years ago when her brother was in the hospital and have had the pleasure of working with her as the ambassador of her school clubs. She is always thinking of ways to help others. I’m wishing her the best of luck in the medical field. I’m hoping I will have the opportunity to work with her as a colleague one of these days.
Sarisha seems to show drive and leadership in all that she does. Her tremendous character shines in all that she does. She has been involved with fundraising and has participates in various events for Make-A-Wish. She is a role model to the community.
She is an amazing student and an even better person! She is well deserving of this scholarship. I look forward to hearing about her successes in the future!
Sarisha is an amazing student who is talented and well rounded. She plays tennis and it's constantly doing community service and trying to improve her community. She was also named as Manteca's Soroptimist girl of the month for Weston Ranch High School.
It is heartning to note how committed and passionate Sarisha is about achieving her goals. I have also noted how keen she is to master life skills like cooking. A well rounded person as her deserves to get an extra chance to achieve her goals. Wishing you the best Sarisha. May God guide you along the way!!!
I am Sarisha's mother and I couldn't be more proud and happy for her to finish high school and move on to the next step of college. She has always been tenacious and hardworking and had the idea and plan of being a doctor since elementary school. She was able to witness first hand how hard physicians and other health care workers work when she had to spend many hours with the family when her younger brother was hospitalize. This has also been a driving force for her to strive and accomplish her goals in the medical field. At Weston Ranch High school she was determined to take as many health related classes and push herself by taking AP classes and setting the bar high for herself. She is a person who takes on challenges and tries to accomplish them through shear hard work. For example at the end of the sophomore year she decided she wanted to try out for her school Tennis team. She watched YouTube videos with her dad and went to the local park and practiced every weekend and summer with him until she could try out and get a place on the school team. She has been a key person in our activities of fund raising for Make-A-Wish and raising enough money for the last 4 years to wishing it forward to another child. She has participated in many activities to fund raise for childhood cancer awareness. To her helping people in her community when their health is at risk and doing the best for them has become a key driving force force. She also has been tenaciously looking to find ways to lesson the burden of student loans as she enters University this fall. Sarisha is a wonderful, empathetic, hardworking person who could really benefit from this scholarship and is worthy of it.
I have known Sarisha and her family many years as she went to school with my son when she was younger. She is a very kind, smart and hard working young lady. She has goals and will accomplish them because she is very driven and focused. I can’t think of a more deserving young lady for this scholarship than Sarisha.
