While I do not attend church with Juliann, I can attest to her great spirit and that description absolutely fits the young lady that I know and have watched grow up. She stands for all things that are good in this San Joaquin county. If we could raise more young ladies like her this town would have a much different complexion....to the good! Go Juliann!
extremely hard worker. she can get a job done with the best attitude while making sure everyone around her is working hard and having fun. she cares for people and that is evident in everything she does.
Thank you to Juliann, for tutoring our daughter Sophie in Math after school. Congratulations on her decision to attend Concordia University
Juliann is such a hard worker in school and outside of school. Her outgoing and loving personality puts a smile on everybody’s face. Juliann has been a great math tutor to our daughter, Sophie and her #1 supporter/teammate on the Tennis team.
We wish you the best of luck at Concordia!
Juliann is a wonderful and caring young lady. She is kind, smart, and hard working. Juliann’s presence lights up the room and her personality is infectious.
Julian has been helping me run tennis clinics and camps for a number of years now, she makes my job of running a Tennis club a lot easier, she is organized, out going and great to have around the club. She is very responsible and a great asset to the team!
As JJ’s older sister I can promise you she hasn’t always been this wonderful but I’ve had the honor of watching her grow up to be the intelligent, strong and capable lady she is today. So proud of you J!
I met Juliann several (!) years ago as her older sisters' principal and as a preschooler she was an enthusiastic, sweet young girl who always said hello with a bright smile. Fast forward several years, I have had the pleasure of watching her grown into a intelligent, respectful, strong young woman. Her enthusiasm for life is contagious. She now not only greets you with a hello, she asks you how you are doing, AND truly listens and engages in conversation. My daughter has had the good fortune of being her doubles partner on the LHS tennis team. Juliann has encouraged and supported her as a team mate and as a friend. I have no doubt that Juliann will be successful in college and her career choices, she is no stranger to hard work and it is clear that she embraces challenge. I wish her all the best!!!
Juliann is an amazing young lady. I have known Juliann for 5 years through our church. She is a very hard worker with attention to detail. Her work ethic translates well in the classroom as well. She has a fun personality that is very contagious. She takes her goals very seriously and is relentless in pursuing. It is an honor to support Juliann for this scholarship opportunity.
Whether Juliann is is volunteering with the JrHigh students or lending a hand after school in a preschool class she brings a lot of joy and energy. Her enthusiasm is very contagious to her peers and the younger ones love to have her around. She has also impacted many of our adults with her heartfelt honest prayers in our worship services.
Juliann is an amazing young woman who loves others and it shows! It has been such a joy to see her blossom into a young woman of grace and poise! She is intelligent, hard working, and loves to have fun! I am so thankful for her and the ways she has loved on my kids and been a positive influence in their lives!
Juliann is a beautiful young lady inside and out! She is always positive In every situation and is willing to lend a helping hand. JJ is a honest teen who stands out as a responsible and respectful student. JJ makes sure to great you with a smile and a warm hug. She is definitely a role model that I like having around for my young 12 year old daughter. She doesn’t hide her faith and is a blessing to those around her. It has been a pleasure to watch her grown and become a leader in the youth group. I know she is going to do great things. In our community when need more young ladies like Juliann.
I have known Juliann since 7th grade and have always had respect for her and always will. Juliann Has a servants heart with everything she does. She teaches tennis to young kids and tutors her cousin with her hw. She is also a leader at our church in the junior high group, she is a person that the younger girl look up to and go to for anything that is going on in their lives. I don’t know another person who should be given this scholarship.
Juliann is our grandaughter. She is a very hard-working student and has achieved very good grades in her high school. Beyond being a very good student she has a wonderful personality, she’s extremely hard-working, honest, with absolute integrity. She played on the Lincoln High School tennis team and played in the Lincoln High School band. She has done three mission trips to Mexico to help build houses for the poor and has worked to earn the money to pay for her trips. She has worked during the summers to make money to save for her college education. When I had heart surgery last year she came out while I was recovering and had limited physical ability and ground the stump of a tree in our backyard for me knowing that I was unable to do it myself. She is such a sweet girl and would be so deserving of this scholarship. Thank you very much for your consideration.
Juliann is a wonderful volunteer with our church’s Jr High group. She is very caring and engaging with the students and tries to get everyone involved. She has a kind heart, and is a hard worker. She has been a blessing to our church.
Jj is a mature young lady with a positive attitude. She coached my son in tennis and he often wanted to go just to see her. She was playful but professional with the students and always respectful to parents. She greeted me with a smile on arrival and had nice things to say. Jj would be a great candidate to consider for this scholarship.
I must say that every thing said thus far, I too agree 100%. I first met Juliann through our homeowners swim team, The Lakers in LVW. Her smile, in itself, tells you what kind of person she is. Throughout the 7 years I helped manage our swim team, Juliann participated and was flexible with the stroke competitions we assigned her. She set a standard for our girl team while encouraging their participation. Juliann was an outstanding role model of all ages. In addition, she worked as a junior coach with our half lappers (children 6 and under). Her presence was happily greeted by her team.
Juliann also gave her time to my grandson, tutoring him in math. She always made herself available when he needed extra help. Her unyielding dedication to her church is admirable, not to mention her drive to help others in need. How often can we say that? Smart, intelligent, flexible, cooperative, positive, respectful, all are representative of Juliann. I would love to see Juliann benefit from such a wonderful scholarship. She definitely is deserving of it. I wish her all the best!
I have known Juliann for many years and have enjoyed watching her grow up to be a very responsible, trustworthy young lady. We can count on Juliann to watch our youngest daughter and house sit when we are on vacation. She is a hardworker who is very dependable.
JJ is a special young lady. She is loving, kind, encouraging, and always has a smile on her face. She is a strong, determined person with drive and determination. I've had the privilege of knowing her for a long time...since 7th grade. My favorite part about her is her love for Jesus and relationship with God. She serves in her church, goes on mission trips, and is a light on her campus. I'm so proud of the young lady she is becoming.
I have had the pleasure of having JJ as a student in my Spanish IV class. JJ is highly focused, motivated and congenial will all of her peers and staff with whom she has contact. JJ has a positive attitude and is willing to work outside of class to achieve her goals. JJ has worked hard to develop the ability to communicate to others in Spanish. She is well balanced in school, church and community. JJ is a quality young woman who lives with the highest ethical , moral and spiritual standards. JJ is aabe to take a task and see it through to completion. I give JJ the highest recommendation to receive this scholarship without reservation.
I am Juliann’s Anatomy and Physiology teacher and it has been an immense pleasure to have her in my class. Juliann is an outstanding student who comes to class every day with a humble, ready to learn demeanor. She is a kind, hard-working, stand out student in my Anatomy and Physiology class. The course is rigorous and requires a lot of work, attention to detail, time management and practice, all of which Juliann masters. During review games, whenever a question comes around that not a single person in the class knows the answer to, I can always turn to Juliann, humble, but prepared to share her answer. Juliann is a self-motivated student who looks to constantly improve herself and reach mastery. She asks intellectual questions in class and makes insightful conclusions and connections. She has an incomparable drive to learn and challenge herself and this will allow her take on whatever courses she may endure in the future, activities she may partake in and whatever career steps she must take to meet her goals. Juliann is the type of student I would want to have my class full of. She continues to impress me with her positivity, work ethic and inquisitive mind. I know that when she puts her mind to something she can achieve it. She is truly a motivated, and compassionate young woman.
I first meet Juliann a few years ago as one of her senior high youth group leaders. It’s hard not to notice her because her joy, laughter, and positivity light up the room. Over the years I have gotten to know her, I have discovered she is not your average teenage girl. Juliann is mature, kind, intelligent, thoughtful, and energetic. She is a natural leader that has a heart to serve. I serve along side her in our junior high ministry and I’ve seen her identify kids that may not be engaged and find a way to bring them into the activity. She is goofy and so much fun to be around that you can’t help but smile and have a great time. Juliann loves kids and working with them. She hopes to become an occupational therapist helping children with life skills. By awarding her with this scholarship you’ll help ease the financial burden of college so that she can focus more on her education to help her achieve her dreams.
Juliann Johnson is exceptional. She inspires others to be their absolute best. This young lady has the heart of a servant and will sacrifice time and resources to advance the welfare of others. Her charismatic personality and drive serve as an example for others to emulate. She understands that contentment and satisfaction is a personal choice and she chooses wisely. Any organization would benefit from her association. Young adults with her character give me hope for the future.
Juliann is a warm, loving, independent & trustworthy young lady who is self motivated and a pleasure to know. She is always willing to jump in and make sure the job is done well. She works well with children of all ages as well as with adults. Her personality is contagious.
Juliann is a very dedicated young lady who thrives on helping any one in any way she can. She is a wonderful example to all those who are fortunate enough to be in her youth groups, tutoring groups, tennis classes and the list goes on.
We’re so very proud of her scholastic accomplishments including maintaining a 4.0 GPA.
We’re excited for Juliann as she goes on to college and the career she chooses. We know she will have a positive influence on all who know her.
Juliann has been a shining member of my British Literature classroom over the past year, and I couldn't be happier to recommend her for this scholarship. Juliann has consistently risen to the top as one of the best writers and speakers in my classroom. Each and every assignment is crafted with thought and care, and this effort results in a quality of work not often seen amongst her peers.
Juliann also gets along well with everyone in the classroom, and seems to a friendly, kind word for just about everyone she meets. She is the type of person that lifts up those around her and makes everyone else around her better through her guidance and kindness.
I believe she would be a wonderful recipient for your scholarship and is absolutely worthy of your consideration.
