Patrick Blanco's Teacher
Patrick is a current student in my math class. He is a positive role model for his peers. Patrick is kind, hardworking, and always does what he believes to be right, even when it is not the easiest path. He is positive and always has a smile on his face. As a member of our learning community, Patrick frequently helps peers outside of class time that need additional assistance. He is comfortable working with his peers in groups as well as talking to adults. He is a leader on campus and is one of the founding members of the board game club on campus, as well as an active member in the Chinese club. Patrick is also thoughtful and inquisitive. When I ask him to discuss an idea or think deeper about a concept, he never hesitates. He will often think about a topic over several days and bring up a great talking point or connection during future lessons. He can articulate his thoughts clearly and engage his peers in deeper conversation and thinking. He is a wonderful student to have in class
I’ve had the pleasure to meet Pattrick, he is a very nice and smart kid. His father was one of my teachers in a college psych tech progam and he was one of the best teachers there, and I have no doubt that Pattrick will follow in his dads foot steps. I would highly recommend Pattrick for this scholarship.
I've known Patrick since the fourth grade, and I have never grown tired of his positive, up beat attitude. He is always smiling and makes his peers laugh. I always enjoy his presence and he always makes my day whenever I talk to him.
Patrick was my student in Spanish 3 Honors and is a wonderful young man. He has an amazing work ethic and is very intelligent. He is also very disciplined and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure he is doing the best work he possibly can. I highly recommend Patrick for this scholarship as I think he is very deserving.
Due to its nature of this class, state, and culinary drive for competition, the successful high school forensics student serves by not only representing her school but also by representing his community as well. One of the requirements in my class is to prepare students for real life experiences. With Patrick's knowledge and involvement in Culinary Arts, he has developed a strong sense of confidence with a charming attitude. Therefore, I could always depend on him to set the best example to others.
I sincerely recommend Patrick Blanco as the ideal candidate for what ever he puts his mind too.
After being his 11th grade United States History teacher in Lincoln High School, it is with conviction and enthusiasm that I recommend Patrick Blanco to receive this scholarship.
Patrick takes his academics seriously; his academic transcripts demonstrate that Patrick took each year in high school as an opportunity to challenge himself and improve. In my class, Patrick always impressed me with the quality and effort put in his work, but his most shining quality is to stay motivated and bring this energy to team work.
In US history class, students were asked to create a lesson on civil rights and teach it to their peers. I remember clearly that Patrick’s group, because the lesson was well crafted, informative, and passionate. A well-taught lesson demands substantial time and labor, but also excellent team work. As the group was preparing for the lesson, Patrick brought fun and sensible ideas such as playing Kahoot! and word search games, and encouraged his group members to work through an often arduous, frustrating process. Patrick is an exemplary student, peer, and leader and I am glad that he has the opportunity to receive this scholarship.
I echo the accolades of my fellow teachers at Lincoln High. Patrick has a quiet confidence and resolute conviction to accomplish his goals. I remember Patrick during his sophomore year taking my AP World History course. Patrick always met the rigor of the course. Patrick was a fine example of a student motivator and table team leader. Whether it came to roll play or academic reading and interpretation, Patrick never shied away from participating and helping his fellow students understand complex topics. Patrick is always upbeat, pleasant and approachable. I highly recommend Patrick for the scholarship.
I was lucky enough to have Patrick as a student. I fully appreciate his willingness to engage in all activities with a smile and enjoy himself in the process. Patrick came to class daily with a great attitude and was an excellent classmate to his peers as a result. I put my stamp of approval on Patrick's application for this scholarship
Patrick is in my AP Chemistry class, and he is very helpful to anyone who needs help. He's good at problem solving when something starts to go downhill, and he always seems to undo the problem. He is very positive and uplifting about any situation, and he always completes the goals he sets thoroughly. He fully participates in team activities, and does his part, and sometimes even more. I think Patrick has great potential, and would benefit highly upon receiving a scholarship.
I've had the pleasure of working with his father, Roy Blanco. Through this process, I've met, held conversations, had meals, and celebrated milestones with Patrick as well. He is a wonderful young gentlemen, and extremely hard working. He speaks well, gets along with others and facilitates a very positive and open environment for those around him. Despite him being young, I've never seen any kind of red flags, he's kind, smart, personable, and a joy to be around. I have never seen him angry, or disrespectful, nor have I ever seen him yell at anyone. These are amazing qualities for someone his age, who is about to go to college, and have to integrate with a diverse community. I think he is absolutely deserving of a chance to prove himself, as he has already dedicated himself down the path of education.
His father Roy Blanco, worked very hard to get to where he is today, to be well established in the medical field. I see Patrick doing the same thing, they have similar personas, and they are hard working, intelligent people. The reason I bring his father into this is because Patrick has clearly been raised correctly. He'll continue to have the support of Roy, and the only barrier preventing Patrick from going further is the opportunities presented to him. I believe that Patrick would excel at anything he does, and with the support of his family, I cannot imagine Patrick not achieving what he sets his mind to.
He puts a lot into his studies, as that's what he usually is doing when I'm visiting Roy. I can't possibly think of a better candidate for any academic accolades. Patrick is a perfect pupil and he should have the opportunity to learn and excel in higher education. I wouldn't mind being a reference for him, if you guys have any questions or concerns.
Patrick Blanco is one of the most helpful and kind hearted people I have ever met. I have gone to Lincoln High School all 4 years and would often see Patrick in the halls or in a class. He would always have a kind smile and be ready to help in whatever way he could. He is often the smartest person in the room but doesn't let that get to his head. He keeps his head down, gets his work done and then helps others do theirs. I am lucky to have Patrick as a peer and a friend.
Patrick is a great friend to me at Lincoln. He is very supportive, and is always there to help if I am confused on math homework. Me and Patrick have been in many classes together, and he has always supported me throughout any problems I had. I am happy that me and Patrick are good friends.
It is my pleasure to recommend Patrick Blanco for your scholarship. I met Patrick as a freshman in my English 9 class. He was polite, mature and kind even at that young age. He has only improved with time. I did not get to teach him again as a sophomore, but whenever I see Patrick he has a big hello and smile for me.
Patrick was a motivated and dedicated student as a 9th grader, and his transcript shows that he has continued to pursue excellence as a scholar. He started his high school career taking rigorous classes above and beyond the required classes, and he has followed this path throughout his four years at Lincoln. He has taken Advanced Placement World Geo, World History and Government/ Economics. In the sciences, he has taken Advanced Placement Biology and Chemistry, and in Language Arts, he has taken Advanced Placement Language and Composition and AP Literature. He is also a mathematician and proven this by taking AP Statistics. I had to ask what his strengths are as a student. He claims that he is a math and science guy, but from his transcripts and grades, it is pretty clear that he is successful in all subjects.
Patrick has shown his passion for knowledge, but he does more than study. He is an active member of many clubs and holds offices in all of them from acting secretary to president. He has also spent time volunteering at St. Mary’s dining hall. He is a musician as well.
Patrick is a well-rounded young man. I look forward to seeing what he chooses to study in college and I know he will be an asset to any college he attends. He has a bright future ahead of him. Help him make it come true.
Lincoln High School
Patrick is a wonderful student- I have him in Anatomy and Physiology a very rigorous and challenging course in which he thrives. Patrick has never missed an assignment, he is a student who humbly always knows the answers and is skilled at understanding and learning intricate material with depth. He stands out not only due to his continuous high scores on tedious assessments but his friendly smile and kind demeanor with which he carries every day. I often notice him helping the student next to him understand concepts- which shows the type of person he is. I highly recommend Patrick for the scholarship. He is a well- rounded wonderful student to have in class, and a wonderful peer to have in class for all my students.
Patrick is a fellow classmate of mine in our Anatomy and Physiology class he's very helpful person in this course that is very tricky. He's always in class ready to learn and challenge himself with receiving good grades and never fails to help another student in the class. Patrick is someone everyone needs in their classes he's a very positive person and a great addition to have to the class who makes your day. As much as people ask him for help in class he never says no, with being such a generous and helpful person is a few of the many great qualities my classmate owns. Overall, Patrick is a well rounded person with academics that everyone strives to be along with helping others with the kind and humble soul he has.
Patrick is one of my favorite people to talk to, and to see. He has always been so kindhearted, open minded, and friendly not only to me but others as well. Almost every time we walk by each other, he says hello which is something I greatly appreciate, and something that stands out to me all the time as it is a friendly exchange between him and I. One of the things I like most about Patrick is his ability to make light of any situation there may be, or at least offer to fix the situation as well as he possibly can. For example, not long ago, there was an assembly in which Patrick and I sat amongst a group of people that I found to be extremely agitating, disrespectful, and noisy. I expressed my dull feelings to Patrick and that I really wanted to move, and he offered to have us both move somewhere else. His effort to fix an issue that seemed to affect me more than him shows that he is willing to go out of his way to help a fellow peer, and clearly express that he cares about the wellbeing of his peers. His effort and willingness to make the situation better for a friend of his, me, stood out to me and was immensely appreciated, because knowing that he would do anything he can to make me and any other friend of his feel better makes me value our friendship that much more. To continue, Patrick is a very studious, attentive, and friendly person which are only some of the traits he acquires. It is important for me to mention that Patrick and I's friendship is one of the friendships that I appreciate, enjoy, and value the most, solely for the simplicity of it and our ability to converse about things that don't only have to do with school, and the laughs we have shared together.
As a new student at Lincoln High School this year, I was about to become comfortable with my surroundings. In addition, he has helped me around campus whenever I need any help finding things. Furthermore, as a fellow classmate in AP Literature and Composition, I expanded my friends through him as a new student.
Patrick is a friend that I known since elementary school and he helps me with my math homework everyday since im failing behind in my math class. Patricks was the only one other than the teacher there to help me but I rather go to Patrick for help since we are in the same grade and it wouldn't be easier for me to understand the concept.
I've known Patrick since the beginning of high school. He has helped me a lot with homework and with any preparation for tests that I have struggled with. He has always found a way to incorporate anyone in any specific activity. Usually, if the teacher was not available to help me then Patrick would be the one to explain a topic or further expand my understanding of that topic. Overall, he shows great sportsmanship, leadership, and other characteristics that everyone should portray.
Patrick has been such a good support for me since the beginning. He helped me a lot for my classes, and also outside of school when I have problems. Patrick has been a great friend, and kind to everyone. He is very caring for the people around. Also very involved with school activities. Patrick shows great leaderships and kind personalities that would make a great impact on others.
Patrick is one of the most genuinely kind people at Lincoln High School. He has helped me anytime that I needed, and does so in a light-hearted manner. I have never felt anything negative when being around Patrick and I am extremely lucky to be able to call him my friend.
Patrick is a very smart and well-rounded kid who is extremely motivated in his academics. Not only is he motivated, but he is a very kind and humble person. I believe that he is capable of doing anything he sets his mind to. He is very hard-working and willing to do what it takes to do his very best. I look up to Patrick, and see him as a positive influence. He is always willing to help his fellow peers, and he has always taken time out of his day to help me with Anatomy. He has great leadership skills and is not afraid to take initiative when needed. I believe that so many of his peers look up to him.
I agree with the recommendation of Patrick for this scholarship. He is very smart and kind to everyone at Lincoln High School. He is outgoing and always willing to help a student in need. For example, we had to do a group project together that I didn't understand, but he helped me and our entire group to present the material well. Patrick is also very funny and kind, so he is a well-rounded student.
Patrick is a great guy, he's very smart and always willing to help. When we were partners for Math activities, he was always willing to help me understand any particular topic, and always seemed to be one step ahead of everyone when solving Analysis problems. However, he used his knowledge very differently from how others in his position would've used it: he always explained to us how he got to his solution and how we could understand the problem in our own way.
Patrick is an overall great person. He is a very caring and intelligent person and is willing to help anyone. He is also very funny and a fun person especially when he default dances.
Patrick was a student of mine in Honors Chemistry. He is an extremely bright and capable young man. He gets alone well with peers and adults. He has a cooperative spirit; and works well in groups and independently. He has a great deal of perseverance at tackling difficult problems, and even if it takes awhile, Patrick maintains a positive and congenial attitude throughout the endeavor. I strongly recommend him for this scholarship.
I feel confident in recommending Patrick for this scholarship. I can't think of many people who are as highly regarded as him. He is quick to provide help when asked and is very giving in general. He is kind, helpful, and always goes above and beyond.
Patrick is very empathetic and puts his friends first. When I was going through a lot in life, he managed to listen to everything I had to say and help me through my problems. He Is very kind and does his best to help everyone he can. These kind of qualities are one of the things that people should be looking for.
Patrick constantly tries to help others around him. As an active member of the Filipino club, he puts in the effort to help lead the members while juggling school work. Patrick can lend an ear to listen to his peers' issues, learning the different perspectives of others, and then considers them to make fair and rational judgements which push the club forward in the right direction. This highlights skills necessary to be a leader which I believe Patrick has.
Patrick is an amazing peer and fellow student at Lincoln High School. He has been a good friend of mine since kindergarten, and has never failed to put a smile on my face. He is an intelligent, gregarious and genuine person who is highly deserving of this scholarship. Patrick always leads in the classes I have with him and inspires me and others to be a better student and person as a whole.
I have been great friends with Patrick for almost 8 years now. I can say with confidence that his personality sends waves of positivity to everyone around him. He is always happy and laughing, lightening up the mood when things get a bit too serious. Reliability and helpfulness are some of his strongest traits, as he never fails to fulfill promises to friends nor does he hesitate to assist his peers in class. He’s always ready to participate in class by asking questions or sharing insights to spark curiosity. Patrick is a fantastic leader, as can be seen by his ability to organize events for Board Game club, a group he is president and co-founder of. Yet, he is even better as a teammate when it comes to Filipino club and their activities. He has been able to put himself out there more over the years by making new friends, participating in performances, or really doing anything new to get out of his comfort zone. In addition, he is an outstanding student who isn’t afraid to challenge himself. He has taken many honors and AP courses and maintained a high GPA. Having known Patrick for so long, it is easy to say that he is a kind, caring, hardworking, bright student who is deserving of this scholarship.
I've had the joy of being Patrick's friend for the past seven years, and it must be said that he has had a profound impact on my life. Throughout all that time he's always been a wonderful friend, always there for me in my time of need and being wonderful support for the past half decade.
Patrick is always a good partner to have in classes. He is never hesitant to help when he knows classmates are in need. He’s very kind and intelligent. I’m very lucky to be able to call such a hardworking person my friend.
Patrick is a fellow classmate of mine and is very outgoing and loves to participate in many events. He is one of my closest friend and a very helpful friend that I can depend on. However, like every human being he isn't perfect but, he can be trusted and aids his fellow students in ways that he can. He very enjoyable to be around with and very knowledgeable about academics and out of academic activities. Despite not being athlete he gives his all in sports and any activities thrown at him. I appreciate his friendship and loyalty and enjoy spending a lot of time with him.
Patrick is in AP Chemistry and Analysis Honors with me this year and his presence is enjoyable. He always is very cheerful and optimistic. He is very kind and hard working as well. He always puts in a full effort and works hard in school. He is a very helpful person and never fails to put in work when it comes to group efforts.
Patrick is a good loyal friend. He is dedicated to whatever task he is given, even in the face of difficulty. He will stick by and see to it that the mission is completed regardless if it outside of his capabilities. He is polite and levelheaded, never letting emotions get the best of him.
Patrick is a very sociable guy. He is very smart and hardworking. Additionally, he as leadership skills, being president of the Board Game Club, a very interesting club compared to the other game related ones. Overall, Patrick is a great guy and definitely deserves to go to a great college.
Patrick is a cool individual who doesn't hesitate to help you out whenever you need assistants whether it be favors, etc. He is a hard worker and is willing to be committed to whatever task that is assigned to him.
Patrick is trustworthy and hard-working individual. He is the secretary of the Filipino Club, and as a fellow member of the club, I get to see Patrick work and he is truly inspiring, He shows to everyone the leadership skills that he has. These skills are exemplary which lead the club in a beneficiary manner to everyone.
Patrick is very helpful. He goes out of his way to be there if you need him. He is empathetic and a caring person.
Patrick is one of the most genuine and kind-hearted people that I have ever met! He is smart and trust worthy, as a friend, he won't let you down.
I've kown Patrick for over 10 years now and I can confidently say that there is no one with a more genuine heart. He always goes out of his way to lend a helping hand to others. Along with that he is also a smart, polite, respectful and hardworking person.
I have known Patrick for 6 years and have been in many classes with him. Patrick is a great student and friend who always helps others out with homework problems and any issues they may be dealing with. He is kind, genuine, and always sharing, while he is also a very hardworking person. I believe Patrick is a very deserving student for this scholarship.
I’ve grown up most of life knowing Patrick, from Kindergarten to high school one thing that has remained constant throughout is his ability to be a friend to all. His kindness and compassion is none the less infectious at all times. Patrick’s positivity is also equally matched by this motivation to succeed. In the classes I’ve shared with Patrick I’ve watched him not only excel but help others as well. Overall Patrick is one of those people that will only continue enrich your life just by being in it.
I've been a friend to Patrick since 2013 and I gotta say, he's a really bright guy. He's a very hardworking person and has an enormous heart, as he considers the feelings of those around him. Most of all, he isn't afraid to jump into a situation even if it makes him uncomfortable. I'm glad to be one of Patrick's friends.
Patrick is one of the hardest working people I know. When he has goals, he does not hesitate to do whatever he can to achieve them. He is also a kind hearted person. Patrick is a supportive friend and positive influence to everyone.
I have known Patrick for one year as the advisor to the board games club of which he is president and founder. Patrick is a good leader, well organized, responsible, and respected by his peers. As club president, Patrick is completely in charge: he takes care of all the logistics and paperwork and runs every meeting. A goal of the board games club is to create more community on campus. Every student is welcomed. This goal demonstrates the type of person that Patrick is: caring, inclusive, and kind. When a new student comes to the club, whether a freshman or a student with special needs, Patrick is the one that makes sure the new attendee joins in a game. Patrick is well deserving of your scholarship!
Patrick and I have some philosophical differences- but I have got to hand it to him- he knows what he believes and he sticks to it. All in all, I think Patrick is very worthy of this scholarship.
Patrick was in my Math 10 class as a Freshman, which was a mix of both Honors and regular-track students. As other teachers have mentioned, Patrick is very hard-working and bright and has excellent grades to prove it. What makes him stand out, however, is his genuine enthusiasm for learning and generosity with his time and spirit. Patrick's willingness to ask questions and share insights made the whole class better.
Patrick is currently a member of my AP Literature classroom. He is a thoughtful and talented speaker, and a gifted writer. He is able to articulate his position and advocate for his ideas in a way that enriches the classroom, and the experience of his peers.
Not only is he talented academically, he is a wonderful human being. He brightens the room every morning with his positivity, and always greets me with a smile and warm hello. He does the same for his fellow students and seems to genuinely care for their wellbeing.
I believe he is exceptionally qualified for this scholarship and would make a worthy candidate of your investment.
